Ali Diab, CEO at Collective Health

Our Co-founder and CEO reflects on a remarkable year of growth and results - in partnership with you.

Greetings this holiday season,

As we welcome 2019, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate a truly remarkable year with you.

This year, Collective Health had its biggest jump in annual membership growth ever, seeing adoption of our platform across a wide set of companies in industries from manufacturing, to agriculture, to retail, to entertainment. We also made significant strides in simplifying the healthcare experience for employers and their people, filing three new patents, launching over 250 product features, and growing our healthcare partner ecosystem to over 200 partners.

Most importantly––we’re delivering real results. This year, we were able to demonstrate how our platform is enabling our clients to take control of their healthcare investment. Across our renewal book of business, our clients experienced a -0.3% annualized medical trend––versus a national average of 6%––while delivering the health insurance industry’s highest-rated member experience, with an average member Net Promoter Score in the 70s.

To maintain this level of service as we grow, I’m thrilled to share that Scott Murray will be joining us in the new year as our new Senior Vice President of Operations, overseeing all of our client and member operations. Scott is truly an operator, having most recently spent 17 years at eBay as Vice President of Customer Service and Customer Service, Product & Technology. At eBay, Scott led the transformation of the company’s customer service operations and technology platform that enabled over 350 million customer interactions annually. He also played a critical role in the company’s turnaround efforts, including the relocation of eBay’s customer operations teams from San Jose to Salt Lake City. Under his leadership, we are breaking ground on our first operations hub outside the San Francisco Bay Area, not coincidentally in Salt Lake City––our third office location to date.

Five years ago, we set out to make it effortless for companies and their people to understand, navigate, and pay for healthcare. That doesn’t happen without HR and finance leaders who are willing to do things differently. To our clients who have been with us from the beginning––thank you for shaping the future with us. To those we’re welcoming for the first time this year––thank you for entrusting us to take care of your people.

And to those of you interested in partnering with Collective Health in the future, please stay in touch––we would love to have a conversation about how we can help you achieve your goals.

In good health,

Ali
